Submissions are trickling in, but people putting together an annual literary and arts journal together are hoping for a Tidal Echoes<\/a> tidal wave.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t The journal sponsored by University of Alaska Southeast is seeking more poetry, prose and artwork submissions ahead of a Dec. 1 deadline.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t “We’ve had some submissions already, but some people do wait until that deadline,” Tidal Echoes Editor Kelsey Walsh said in an interview. “This year, I believe the majority (of submissions) are artwork. We do have a couple in the poetry section as well.”<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t Typically, poetry and art submissions are more numerous and submitted earlier than prose, Walsh said, so more fiction, non-fiction, transcribed oral stories, memoirs and drama are welcome.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t More art and poetry are welcome, too.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t
