Over 60 trap shooters came to the Juneau Gun Club late last month for the fifth annual Southeast Fall Shoot, a 300-target tournament featuring American Trap, Wobble Trap, Double Trap and Sporting Clays.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

Hunter Johnson of Sitka shot 276 to become the men’s champion, and Angelina Monfrey of Colony shot 248 to become the women’s champion. Trygve Hermann and Mackenzie Lam, both Juneau intermediate shooters, were named the all-around winners in their division.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

Hermann shot 73 in American Trap, 41 in Wobble Trap, 79 in Double Trap and 32 in Sporting Clays for a 235 total. Lam shot 73 in American Trap, 42 in Wobble Trap, 57 in Double Trap and 32 in Sporting Clays for a 204 total.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

Brice Norton, also of Juneau, got second place in American Trap senior men’s division. Norton tied first-place shooter Cade Clay from Haines with a score of 93 but lost to Clay in a shoot-off.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t
