Sunday is Kid’s Day downtown.<\/p>\n
The Downtown Business Association is hosting the event from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Participating stores will have kid budget-friendly sections, so youths can purchase gifts for friends and family.<\/p>\n
The 20th Century Theatre will show “Polar Express” for free at 3:30 p.m. Imagination Station will host a seasonal crafts event for kids, and Ben Franklin Store will have wagons full of $2-3 items and a make-it take-it station. Trove will have a drawing for a kids basket, and Sketch Art Studio will have a free card-making activity and sales. Alaska Robotics is also planning to participate, as well.<\/p>\n
