The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory <\/a>for Juneau through Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Three to five inches of snow are expected to fall, concentrated primarily in the Mendenhall Valley. A mix of rain and snow is predicted to fall near the airport and downtown, with smaller amounts accumulating.<\/p>\n

Skagway is expected to get hit by the same storm, with as much as eight inches expected in some places.<\/p>\n

Snow showers are expected on and off through Friday, when the weather is expected to clear briefly, according to the NWS’s forecast.<\/p>\n
