A mix of rain and snow is predicted to fall near the airport and downtown, with smaller amounts accumulating.<\/p>\n<p>Skagway is expected to get hit by the same storm, with as much as eight inches expected in some places.<\/p>\n<p>Snow showers are expected on and off through Friday, when the weather is expected to clear briefly, according to the NWS&rsquo;s forecast.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>\u2022 Contact reporter Michael S.
