{"id":57106,"date":"2019-12-31T11:20:00","date_gmt":"2019-12-31T20:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/gas-station-burglarized-for-second-time-this-year\/"},"modified":"2019-12-31T11:20:00","modified_gmt":"2019-12-31T20:20:00","slug":"gas-station-burglarized-for-second-time-this-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/gas-station-burglarized-for-second-time-this-year\/","title":{"rendered":"Gas station burglarized for second time this year"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\t\t\t\t<p>Three individuals burgled the Gas N&rsquo; Go off Glacier Highway early Tuesday morning, breaking a window to get inside.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;They just broke through a window and just took some items,&rdquo; said Austin Lanz, the manager of the Gas N&rsquo; Go. &ldquo;We&rsquo;re doing a full inventory tonight.&rdquo;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The suspects used a rock to break through the window on the side of the building away from the road before stealing a number of vaping-related supplies, said assistant manager Melissa Lytle. They broke in at about 1:40 a.m., setting off the alarm. The building was closed and empty at the time. Lockett | Juneau Empire)<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Video cameras recorded three suspects, Lytle said, including two suspects who entered the building through the broken window, as well as a third suspect who stayed outside the building. All three suspects wore masks, Lanz said.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The last break-in at the Gas N&rsquo; Go was roughly seven months ago, Cameron said.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><ins><a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/overall-alaska-crime-down-but-violent-crime-is-at-5-year-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">[Overall Alaska crime down, but violent crime is at 5 year high] <\/a><\/ins><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The police are investigating the break-in, Lanz said.
