A Thursday night Visitor Industry Task Force meeting is postponed because of extreme weather and high winds, City and Borough of Juneau announced Thursday morning.

The meeting was to be focused on public testimony regarding the tourism industry. The next regular meeting of the task force is scheduled for 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21., in the Assembly Chambers, 155 S. Seward St. A makeup date for the canceled public testimony meeting will be decided at that meeting, CBJ said.

Residents can still submit comments regarding tourism to the city clerk’s office by emailing city.clerk@juneau.org.
