Alter, 47, was sentenced by Juneau Superior Court Judge Amy Mead to serve two years with a third year suspended contingent on his good behavior after pleading guilty to a charge of first-degree theft.<\/p>\n<p>The charge comes from a case in 2016 where Alter, along with others, broke into a house and stole a safe, cash and jewelry estimated to be worth more than $150,000, Assistant District Attorney Bailey Woolfstead said in court.<\/p>\n<p>Alter was recently arrested on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-respond-to-breeze-in-for-stolen-car\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dec. 10<\/a> outside the Douglas Breeze In alongside Dylan K.
