It&rsquo;s alleged that the suspects had bottles or brass knuckles during the assault.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpermalink.php%3Fstory_fbid%3D2454106438174984%26id%3D1487310934854544&#038;width=500\" width=\"500\" height=\"392\" style=\"border:none;overflow:hidden\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"0\" allowTransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The victim suffered injuries during the assault, according to JPD, but the injuries are not thought to be serious.<\/p>\n<p>The victim and suspects are known to each other, according to JPD, and it&rsquo;s alleged the assault was retaliation for a previous criminal act.<\/p>\n<p>The case appears to be an isolated one, said Erann Kalwara, public safety manager for the JPD, in an email, and JPD&rsquo;s social media post stated there appears to be no public safety concerns stemming from the incident.<\/p>\n<p>But some in the community, including Briana Heller, are worried,<\/p>\n<p>Heller, a parent of a student who had heard about the incident from others, went to both the school and the police to express concerns about the investigation.
