Shanley-DeBuse)<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m taking a quarter of the Broadway show away from the show,&rdquo; Warbelow said with a laugh in a phone interview.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>She said they&rsquo;re calling the event a Broadway revue, and performances will include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2019\/09\/11\/758080813\/come-from-away-tiny-desk-concert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">songs from the Tony Award-nominated <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2019\/09\/11\/758080813\/come-from-away-tiny-desk-concert\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">musical<\/a>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Warbelow, who is from Fairbanks, said she has an extensive history performing in Juneau and is glad to be coming back to the capital city. She said most of her past performances have been at the Alaska Folk Festival.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/fiIQ_z4lXMI\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Warbelow said the first time she played Folk Fest, she was 11.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;That&rsquo;s where I got my start with performing non-classical music,&rdquo; Warbelow said.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>While in town, Warbelow said the performers will be visiting with high school students.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>She said she is also looking forward to performing in a setting that will likely be more intimate than the Broadway venue in which she&rsquo;s been performing.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;I definitely enjoy playing to a smaller crowd.&rdquo;<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Plus, the trip to Alaska will allow Warbelow to visit her family.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;I usually go home for Christmas, but I didn&rsquo;t get to do that this year,&rdquo; Warbelow said.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>Instead, she performed on Broadway.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p><em>&#8226; Contact reporter Ben Hohenstatt at (907)523-2243 or bhohenstatt@juneauempire.com.
