Juneau is among a handful of communities scheduled for a Friday flyover, according to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson.<\/p>\n
In the early afternoon of May 15, two C-17 Globemaster IIIs will fly over Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Cordova, Valdez and Palmer, JBER said in a Facebook <\/a>post<\/a>. <\/p>\n The flyover is a salute and thank-you to health care workers, first responders and other essential personnel, according to the post.
