Juneau Crime Line\/Crime Stoppers announced Friday that it will offer a $1,000 reward for information instrumental in the arrest of people involved in a two-vehicle arson that occurred out Glacier Highway early on Sunday, May 3.<\/p>\n

The two vehicles, a Scion and a Subaru, were completely totalled, said Capital City Fire\/Rescue Fire Marshal Dan Jager in a phone interview. The incident, which occurred near Mile Marker 23, is being investigated by CCFR, as well as the Juneau Police Department, the U.S. Forest Service and the Alaska State Troopers.<\/p>\n

As fire marshal, Jager’s job is to inspect any fires occurring in the area of responsibility of CCFR. When a fire is suspicious, the fire marshals will be one of the leaders of the investigation, alongside relevant law enforcement organizations, Jager said.<\/p>\n
