Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé softball was off to a great start before the COVID-19 closures. We were looking forward to having a successful season with our four seniors leading our team, especially guiding our nine freshmen into our program. Coaches and players have been staying connected through regular Zoom meetings, but it isn’t the same. We are all disappointed that we missed a season that we felt would have been strong for us. We are looking forward to when we will be together again and have the opportunity to play ball.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

We were looking forward to her pitching one last season as a leader for our young pitchers. We will miss her dedication and quirky sense of humor next year. The coaches and entire team wish Amanda the best of luck at Northern Arizona University in the fall where she plans to study psychology.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t
