Anyone with information about a crime can report a tip anonymously to juneaucrimeline.com.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 8:59 a.m. Wednesday, a 30-year-old man was arrested on a JPD warrant for domestic violence-assault, violating conditions of release and unlawful contact on Fritz Cove Road, and additionally charged with violating conditions of release and unlawful contact. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Crash<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy struck a guardrail on the 9600 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. There were no injuries, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Death<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 2:34 p.m. on Tuesday, Juneau Police Department investigated the death of a 72-year-old man on the 5000 block of Glacier Highway. The death is not considered suspicious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drunken Driving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At 1:37 a.m. Wednesday, 35-year-old David Anthony Whisenant was arrested for driving while intoxicated. The vehicle he was driving was impounded, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was a factor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sex Crime<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a reported sexual assault.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shoplift<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 7:29 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD received a report of a 37-year-old woman trespassing and concealing merchandise at a business on the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trespassing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 9:55 p.m. on Tuesday, a JPD officer saw a 22-year-old man and 20-year-old man trespassing on the 400 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was a factor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 8:11 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a 2000 Ford pickup truck on the 8400 block of Valley Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8226; At 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, a 51-year-old man reported his residence on the 5900 block of Pine Street was egged some time during the night.
