He had suffered a gunshot wound to his upper torso.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.<\/p>\n<p>Police found Hess a few block away.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say the shooting victim had asked Hess to leave the area, and after exchanging words, Hess produced a gun and fired shots at the other man.<\/p>\n<p>Police say they didn\u2019t know each other.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 An Anchorage man is being held on suspicion of felony assault following a shooting Thursday night in Anchorage\u2019s Spenard neighborhood.
