(Courtesy photo | University of Alaska Fairbanks)<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<p>The four other candidates are former University of Alaska Fairbanks interim chancellor Dana Thomas; UA Acting System President Michelle Rizk; UAF Chancellor Daniel White and UA Anchorage Chancellor Cathey Sandeen.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<p>&ldquo;Pitney spent 23 years with the University of Alaska as UAF vice chancellor and at UA Statewide for 17 years,&rdquo; athe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alaska.edu\/pres\/interim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UA webpage dedicated to the search<\/a> for an interim president says.
