The Juneau Police Department is seeking information on a burglary of Bullwinkle’s Pizza Parlor in the Mendenhall Valley by a suspect early Monday morning.<\/p>\n
At around 5:25 a.m., JPD received a report of an alarm at the valley Bullwinkle’s. JPD officers found the window of the front door broken and the interior glass door shattered, said Lt. Krag Campbell in a news release. As police arrived, a suspect ran from the back of the building into the nearby woods, but officers were unable to locate him, Campbell said.<\/p>\n
Inside, a vending machine was broken, an office was turned over, and cash registers were pried open, Campbell said. There was an estimated $5,000 in damage done to the business, according to JPD, and more than $1,500 in property was stolen.<\/p>\n
