Gov. Mike Dunleavy will have a press conference at 5 p.m. Tuesday to discuss the distribution of CARES Act funding, the governor’s office announced in a press release.<\/p>\n

Dunleavy will be joined by Department of Commerce, Community and Economic Development Commissioner Julie Anderson; Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority Executive Director Alan Weitzner; Department of Health and Social Services Commissioner Adam Crum and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anne Zink.<\/p>\n

Juneau is set to receive just over $53 million in CARES Act money made in three payments. The first payment of $25 million was received in May and according to the governor’s allocation plan<\/a>, the city will receive two additional payments of more than $14 million.<\/p>\n
