A Juneau man was found dead Wednesday afternoon at a construction site where he was working, said a Juneau Police Department spokesperson.<\/p>\n
Johnathan Danial Hacko, 33, was found unconscious inside a forklift he had been working with by colleagues, who called emergency services said Lt. Krag Campbell. Hacko had been working at a construction site on Sherwood Lane.<\/p>\n
Members of Capital City Fire\/Rescue attempted life-saving measures, which were unsuccessful, Campbell said in an email. JPD investigated the death, but found no obvious cause of death.<\/p>\n
“Mr. Hacko’s body will be sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy. Next of kin has been notified,” Campbell said. “At this time, the cause of death isn’t considered suspicious.”<\/p>\n
The body has been sent to the medical examiner’s office in Anchorage, where the usual response is approximately 2-3 weeks, Campbell said, though a toxicology screening may extend that time. The next of kin has been notified.<\/p>\n
