The Juneau Crime Line is seeking the public’s help finding two walrus tusks stolen from Alaska Fur Gallery<\/a> on Franklin Street.<\/p>\n In a Thursday morning email, Juneau Police Department Lt. Jeremy Weske said the tusks, which have been scrimshawed with a hunting scene, were mounted on a green granite plaque.<\/p>\n The tusks were taken sometime between April 2 and May 5, according to the email, and are valued at $20,000.<\/p>\n Several paintings were also taken from the walls, according to a person who answered the phone at the fur gallery on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n
