{"id":64965,"date":"2020-11-04T21:30:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-05T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/2-arrested-in-multi-agency-effort\/"},"modified":"2020-11-06T16:26:11","modified_gmt":"2020-11-07T01:26:11","slug":"2-arrested-in-multi-agency-effort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/2-arrested-in-multi-agency-effort\/","title":{"rendered":"2 arrested in multi-agency effort"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the Thursday afternoon arrest of two people on multiple outstanding warrants, the Juneau Police Department announced.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from JPD, Alaska State Troopers, U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and FBI arrested Clyde Pasterski, 40, and Alicia Pasterski, 35, at a residence on the 9000 block of Lakeview Court, JPD said in a news release. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We routinely collaborate with AST and the FBI on local events. It is not uncommon with big warrants and since one warrant was a federal ATF (warrant), it made sense to also work with the Marshals,&rdquo; said JPD public safety manager Erann Kalwara in an email. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s good to have our partners aware of what we are doing and work together when possible.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div>\n<p><script async defer crossorigin=\"anonymous\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/sdk.js#xfbml=1&#038;version=v8.0\" nonce=\"dtdf7Hh4\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Clyde Pasterski was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to comply with conditions of release for an original offense of three counts of third-degree misconduct involving weapons, according to police, as well as a warrant for felon in possession of a firearm. The nature of the offenses dictated a joint approach, Kalwara said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=2684560341796258&#038;id=1487310934854544\" data-show-text=\"true\" data-width=\"\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=2684560341796258&#038;id=1487310934854544\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\">\n<p>At around 3:00 p.m. today, law enforcement officers from JPD, FBI, AST and the U.S. Marshall\u2019s Fugitive Task Force&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Juneau-Police-Department-1487310934854544\/\">Juneau Police Department<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/permalink.php?story_fbid=2684560341796258&#038;id=1487310934854544\">Thursday, November 5, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>Alicia Pasterski was arrested on a felony warrant for failure to comply with conditions of release for an original offense of third-degree assault, according to police, as well as a felony warrant for third-degree escape and third-degree criminal mischief and a misdemeanor warrant for first-degree unlawful contact.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Clyde and Alicia Pasterski were arrested by the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Fugitive Task Force,&rdquo; said FBI spokesperson Chloe Martin in an email. &ldquo;At the time of the arrest, the FBI was there in a supporting role.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The arrests were made without incident, Kalwara said. Kalwara credited JPD&rsquo;s investigative team with locating the pair for apprehension.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are pleased that the warrants were served. Clyde was deemed potentially armed and dangerous,&rdquo; Kalwara said. &ldquo;Having a positive outcome of getting both off the streets and lodged at LCCC is great for our community.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Both Pasterskis were taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, according to police. Clyde Pasterski is being held without bail, while Alicia Pasterski&rsquo;s bail is set at $10,000.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8226; Contact reporter Michael S.
