Lance Pruitt, R-Anchorage, who also served as Minority Leader in the Alaska House of Representatives, losing to Democratic challenger Liz Snyder by only 13 votes.<\/p>\n<p><ins>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/lawsuit-challenges-constitutionality-of-ballot-measure-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Lawsuit challenges constitutionality of Ballot Measure 2<\/a>]<\/ins><\/p>\n<p>Division of Elections Public Relations Manager Tiffany Montemayor confirmed the recount request in an email Wednesday saying the recount would begin Friday, Dec. 4, at 9 a.m. at the DOE director&rsquo;s office in the capital city.<\/p>\n<p>The request was made by 11 qualified voters, Montemayor said in an email, the minimum is 10.
