A matching grant from the Sealaska Legacy Endowment doubles First National\u2019s donation to $8,000 for low-income patients of SEARHC.<\/p>\n<p>The foundation provides financial assistance to these SEARHC patients for medical devices and travel not otherwise paid for by insurance and other medical coverage options. SEARHC has facilities throughout Southeast, including Juneau, Sitka and Haines, where First National has branches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor nearly a century now, First National has supported the communities we serve and the Alaskans who live there,\u201d said Luke Fanning, Southeast Regional Manager for the bank and HHF board member. \u201cI\u2019ve seen directly how HHF lends a hand to those who might otherwise not get the care they need.
