JPD\u2019s Explosive Ordinance Disposal team was able to remove the device and render  it safe, said JPD Sgt. Jeremy Weske. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe area was immediately secured and then &#8230; the second entrance to Switzer and parts of the third entrance were shut down while the EOD team secured  the device and rendered it safe,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>No one was injured and an investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Juneau police responded to a pipe bomb found at the entrance of Switzer Village in Lemon Creek on Friday afternoon.
