Alaska Committee thanks those who helped welcome lawmakers to Juneau<\/p>\n
The Alaska Committee and local businesses and organizations put together welcome gift baskets for legislators.<\/p>\n
“Every year we want to communicate that the community of Juneau appreciates and welcomes the legislature,” said Wayne Jensen, Chair of the Alaska Committee.<\/p>\n
He added, “in light of the additional challenges presented by COVID-19, it seemed even more important to do what we could to extend a warm welcome.”<\/p>\n
Additional safety measure were taken in order to make it as safe as possible for all involved and for the legislator recipients.
