{"id":71098,"date":"2021-05-26T02:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-wednesday-may-26-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-05-26T02:30:00","modified_gmt":"2021-05-26T10:30:00","slug":"police-calls-for-wednesday-may-26-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-wednesday-may-26-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Police calls for Wednesday, May 26, 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This report contains public information available to the Empire from law enforcement and public safety agencies.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Assault<\/p>\n<p>At 7:57 p.m. on Sunday, JPD received a report of a 35-year-old man who was assaulted by an unknown man in the 800 block of Basin Road.<\/p>\n<p>At 10:12 p.m. on Sunday, a 26-year-old woman reported being assaulted in the 36000 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n<p>At 11:19 p.m. on Sunday, a 43-year-old woman reported being assaulted by another woman in the 100 block of Franklin Street.<\/p>\n<p>At 8:45 a.m. on Monday, a 48-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence-assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p>Driving while intoxicated<\/p>\n<p>At 1:14 p.m. on Sunday, 42-year-old Corena Lea Williard was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a breath-alcohol level of .304, violating conditions of release, driving without a license, reckless driving and three outstanding JPD warrants in the 1000 block of Egan Drive and taken to LCCC. The vehicle she was driving was impounded. <\/p>\n<p>Drug activity<\/p>\n<p>At 1:58 p.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated drug activity on the way 8500 block of Jennifer Drive.<\/p>\n<p>Sex crime<\/p>\n<p>At 12:53 p.m. on Sunday, JPD investigated a report of a sexual assault.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic stop<\/p>\n<p>At 11:35 p.m. on Sunday, 27-year-old Alfred Willis Torres Jr was cited and released for driving with his license revoked and violating conditions of release in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.<\/p>\n<p>Trespassing<\/p>\n<p>At 2:48 p.m. on Sunday, 34-year-old Marl Mark Adam Hutter was arrested for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive and taken to LCCC.
