Parents considering a cruise to Alaska this summer may have the option of adding their young kids to their travel plans.<\/p>\n
Cruise lines that cater to families are one step closer to getting the green light to bring some unvaccinated minors to Juneau once large-deck cruise ships resume trips to Southeast Alaska.<\/p>\n
On Monday night, members of the City and Borough of Juneau Assembly’s Committee of the Whole considered whether to authorize city manager Rorie Watt to enter into port agreements that allow unvaccinated minors to visit Juneau with their families as long as certain conditions are met. The assembly is set to make a final decision at their June 14 meeting.<\/p>\n
