This article has been updated to reflect that one of the suspects was arrested on Tuesday. <\/em><\/ins><\/p>\n Two people were indicted last Thursday on multiple charges, including second-degree murder, related to the October of 2020 death of a man near Juneau International Airport, according to Alaska Department of Law.<\/p>\n Joseph R. Schultz, 36, and Marisela Velazquez, 37, were each indicted on charges of two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of first-degree robbery, manslaughter and leaving the scene of an accident on June 24, the department said in a news release.<\/p>\n [Juneau man struck, killed in road near airport]<\/ins><\/p>\n The death the charges stem from occurred when Dylan Haisler, 32, exited or was ejected from a vehicle and was hit and killed by another vehicle traveling on Glacier Highway on Oct. 6, 2020.<\/p>\n Shultz was arraigned on June 25 before superior court. Velazquez was located on Tuesday by U.S. Marshals in National City, California, and arrested on a warrant, according to Juneau Police Department. Bail was set at $100,000 for both.<\/p>\n If convicted, both Schultz and Velazquez face up to 99 years imprisonment, according to the law department. Schultz’s next scheduled court appearance is on Sept. 15, 2021.<\/p>\n Judge Phillip Pallenberg is presiding over the case.
