Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 11:39 a.m. on Thursday, a 63-year-old man reported he was assaulted by a 53-year-old man in the the 4500 block of Kanata Street.<\/p>\n

At 2:53 a.m. on Saturday, a 21-year-old man reported being assaulted by other men in the 8500 block of Forest Lane.<\/p>\n

Conditions violation<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 8:28 a.m. on Thursday, 38-year-old William Charles Peters Jr. was cited and released larceny and violating conditions of release in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.<\/p>\n

At 9:18 a.m. on Thursday, 34-year-old man was arrested for unlawful contact and violating conditions of release and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n

At 10:56 a.m. on Friday, a 33-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- unlawful contact and violating conditions of release and taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

Death<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 10:23 a.m. on Thursday, JPD investigated the death of a 35-year-old woman in the 8400 block of Forest Lane. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin has been notified.<\/p>\n

Disturbance<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 7:56 p.m. on Wednesday, 58-year-old Janet Pickering was arrested for criminal mischief and harassment in the 1900 block of Allen Court and taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

At 11:45 a.m. on Friday, JPD responded to an ongoing litter issue on the 300 block of Whittier Street.<\/p>\n

Domestic dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:31 p.m. on Thursday, a 32-year-old man was arrested for unlawful contact and taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

At 6:55 a.m. on Saturday, JPD investigated a domestic dispute.<\/p>\n

Driving while intoxicated<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 10:31 p.m. on Thursday, 57-year-old Robert Lorenzen was arrested for drug-related driving while intoxicated in the 900 block of A Street and released pending the issuance of a criminal complaint. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.<\/p>\n

At 3:48 a.m. on Saturday, 36-year-old Nikolus Brian Barrett was arrested for driving under the influence in the 5400 block of Egan Drive and taken to LCCC. The vehicle he was driving was impounded. Alcohol was a factor.<\/p>\n

Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, JPD investigated drug activity.<\/p>\n

At 9:59 a.m. on Friday, JPD investigated drug activity.<\/p>\n

Lost\/found<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2 p.m. on Wednesday, a wallet found on the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive was turned in for safekeeping.<\/p>\n

Motor vehicle crash<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 12:36 p.m. on Wednesday, a 34-year-old woman reported a hit and run on her vehicle on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway with damage estimated at over $5,000.<\/p>\n

Prohibited item<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD confiscated a prohibited item at Juneau International Airport in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.<\/p>\n

Shoplift<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:15 p.m. on Friday, JPD investigated possible concealment of merchandise and criminal trespass on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n

Theft<\/strong> <\/p>\n

At 9:16 a.m. on Thursday, JPD investigated a theft in the 8700 block of Trinity Drive.<\/p>\n

Traffic stop<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2 p.m. on Friday, 52-year-old Susan Lynn Trammell was cited and released for driving with a suspended license on Mendenhall Mall Road and the vehicle she was driving was impounded.<\/p>\n

At 3:36 p.m. on Friday, 42-year-old Lisa Suellen Smith was cited and released for driving without a valid license in the 1200 block of Glacier Avenue and the vehicle she was driving was impounded.<\/p>\n

At 7:45 p.m. on Friday, 26-year-old Joseph Toni Russell Torres was arrested for driving while unlicensed and violating conditions of release in the 900 block of Tenth Street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
