The Juneau Police Department is looking for two men who they say broke into a Mendenhall Valley home and assaulted a woman before stealing from her.<\/p>\n
Around 3:21 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report that the men entered a home in the 9200 block of James Boulevard through an unlocked sliding glass door and assaulted a 29-year-old woman who was in her kitchen. The men punched and kicked the woman, and then ransacked her kitchen and fled with a ring valued at $120 and $5 in coins, according to a JPD news release.<\/p>\n
Police searched the area but could not locate the suspects. The woman suffered minor injuries but did not require medical attention.<\/p>\n
The men were described as being about 5\u20196\u201d, slim and with tan complexions. They wore mostly black clothing, and one of the men had dark hair.<\/p>\n
