Numbers come from reports from the City and Borough of Juneau Emergency Operations Center and the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, as well as updates from the Alaska Coronavirus Response Hub and City and Borough of Juneau COVID-19 Dashboard.<\/em><\/p>\n Beginning next week, the city and state will begin providing COVID-19 data updates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays instead of daily. COVID at a glance will follow that schedule. <\/em><\/p>\n Local numbers<\/p>\n Alert level:<\/strong> High<\/p>\n New cases:<\/strong> 6 residents<\/p>\n Test positivity rate:<\/strong> 3%<\/p>\n Cumulative cases:<\/strong> 3,887 residents and 298 nonresidents<\/p>\n Current hospitalizations:<\/strong> 0<\/p>\n New deaths:<\/strong> 0<\/p>\n Cumulative deaths:<\/strong> 16 residents, 1 nonresident<\/p>\n Vaccination information:<\/strong> 81.3% of Juneau’s eligible population ( 77.1% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 75.6% of eligible Juneau residents (71.7% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.<\/p>\n State numbers<\/p>\n Alert level: <\/strong>High<\/p>\n New cases:<\/strong> 333 residents, 3 nonresidents<\/p>\n Test positivity rate: <\/strong>5.27%<\/p>\n Cumulative cases:<\/strong> 145,905 residents and 5,418 nonresidents<\/p>\n Current hospitalizations:<\/strong> 79<\/p>\n New deaths: <\/strong>1<\/p>\n Cumulative deaths:<\/strong> 851 residents, 30 nonresidents<\/p>\n Vaccination information:<\/strong> 61% of Alaska’s eligible population ( 57% overall) has received a first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, and 55% of eligible Alaskans (52% overall) have completed a full vaccination series.<\/p>\n
