Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Death<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a medically related death. Not suspicious.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 10:17 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to an unattended death in the 2900 block of Simpson Avenue. No foul play is suspected.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a domestic disturbance. The report was for information only.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 6:06 p.m. Wednesday, a 36-year-old woman caused approximately $450 worth of damage to a vehicle in a domestic violence related incident. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 12:57 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated ongoing drug activity in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 11:17 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall and investigated possible drug activity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drunken driving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 9:29 p.m. Wednesday, Tina Carranza, 31, was arrested for DUI in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. She was additionally charged with refusal to submit a chemical test and four counts of reckless endangerment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Failure to register<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 At 11:20 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Marine Way and cited a person for failing to register as a sex offender. No name was given in JPD\u2019s report.
