He said he entered the home to escape cold weather.<\/p>\n<p>The young man told troopers he was a friend of the homeowner\u2019s stepson and had visited the home months ago.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers issued the man a citation for consuming alcohol as a minor.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers referred charges of criminal trespass and criminal mischief to the district attorney.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KETCHIKAN \u2014 Prosecutors in Ketchikan will consider charges against a 19-year-old man who broke into an occupied home to get out of the cold.
