Child abuse<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:39 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of child abuse in the 8200 block of Threadneedle Street. Investigation continues. Confidential.<\/p>\n Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4 p.m. Tuesday, a 24-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault and domestic violence related criminal mischief. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n Failure to validate deer harvest tickets<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Dec. 20, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Juneau residents Grantley Moore, 40 Sarah Milks, 21 and Amanda Menke, 24, after they had returned to the Douglas boat harbor after deer hunting. Investigation revealed that they had harvested several deer and failed to immediately validate their harvest tickets as required. They were each issued a $160 citation.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Dec. 20, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Juneau resident Naashukwa Richey, 29, at the south Douglas harbor after he had returned from deer hunting. Investigation revealed he had been hunting deer without first obtaining deer harvest tickets, and he was issued a $160 citation.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Wednesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls, a fire alarm on Airport Boulevard that was sounded by burnt food, a garage fire on Fritz Cove Road that CCFR extinguished, and two transport calls.<\/p>\n Fraud<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:27 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of fraud in the 8000 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n Reckless driving<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:26 a.m. Dec. 19, Torsten Fagerstrom, 21, was cited for reckless driving. He was contacted by Alaska Wildlife Troopers after driving 108 miles per hour in a 55-mph zone on Egan Drive near Sunny Point.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:54 p.m. Tuesday, a 28-year-old woman reported a vehicle was rifled in the 2100 block of Glacier highway and a roll of quarters was stolen.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 6:48 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of theft from the main atrium of the Station Office Building in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:01 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of theft of services, $24.40, from a commercial passenger vehicle on Egan Drive. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:06 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report that a car battery, valued at $228, was stolen in the 1700 block of Ralph\u2019s Way. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of theft from the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Way.
