Skeek was charged with one count of felony second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. The original charge came from an offense in 2017, and required a retrial.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/2-stable-following-plane-crash-near-outer-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><ins>[2 stable following plane crash near Outer Point]<\/ins><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In sentencing Mr. Skeek, Judge (Daniel) Schally found that an aggravating factor applied: that the crime was a sexual felony and that the defendant was more than 10 years older than the victim,&rdquo; read an Alaska Department of Law news release.<\/p>\n<p>The victim&rsquo;s family made statements in court during the sentencing, stating the significant the sexual abuse had had on the victim, according the the law department. <\/p>\n<p>The case was prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Bailey Woolfstead.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8226; Contact reporter Michael S.
