{"id":89408,"date":"2022-07-30T02:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-07-30T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-saturday-july-30-2022\/"},"modified":"2022-07-30T02:30:00","modified_gmt":"2022-07-30T10:30:00","slug":"police-calls-for-saturday-july-30-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-saturday-july-30-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Police calls for Saturday, July 30, 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This report contains information available to the Empire from law enforcement and public safety agencies.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Trespassing<\/p>\n<p>At 2:21 p.m. on Wednesday, 41-year-old Stephen Robert William Brower was arrested and released for criminal trespass in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n<p>Sex Crime<\/p>\n<p>At 4:16 p.m. on Wednesday, Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into a possible sex crime and a report will follow.<\/p>\n<p>Shoplift<\/p>\n<p>At 4:38 p.m. on Wednesday, a 48-year-old woman reported that a 17-year-old boy was seen shoplifting from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic Dispute<\/p>\n<p>At 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of an altercation between a 59-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman. <\/p>\n<p>Disturbance<\/p>\n<p>At 2:35 a.m. on Thursday, a 36-year-old man violated his conditions of release by contacting a 55 year-old man in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Dive. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Arrest<\/p>\n<p>At 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, 32-year-old Cody Louis Mun-Nuk Mercure was arrested in the 200 block of South Franklin Street on a JPD warrant and two Alaska State Trooper warrants. All warrants were for failure to appear for charges of criminal trespassing and third-degree theft.
