United Way of Southeast Alaska received a campaign gift from Avista, the parent company of Alaska Electric Light and Power (AEL&P). Jessie Wuerst Sr., communications manager for Avista and Tim McLeod, general manager of AEL&P, presented United Way of Southeast Alaska with a check for $2,000. Avista and AELP employees continue their giving as a proud tradition. Avista and AELP have a deeply rooted belief in giving back to the communities they serve. The company encourages and supports employee volunteerism in the community.<\/p>\n
