A preliminary investigation found Rogers was on a walk with three dogs when she was killed, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/juneau.org\/police\/jpd-psa-individual-view\/entry\/87074?fbclid=IwAR1FTk_XsliEpKlK7aMVTxnhb3XNpclUXeNcDX-RBuvyX_uGPUIxrM9kG8U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Juneau Police Department news release. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><ins>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/death-investigation-continues\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Update: Death investigation continues<\/a>]<\/ins><\/p>\n<p>So far, no arrests have been announced in connection to the killing, but according to JPD, officers are working around the clock on the investigation.
