Domestic dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 1:06 a.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a domestic violence related disturbance involving \u201ctwo mutual combatants.\u201d No injuries were reported, and the persons involved agreed to separate. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 3:38 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a domestic violence related verbal dispute. The persons involved agreed to resolve matters by separating for the night. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

Failure to submit hunt report<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Monday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Brandon Gee, 27, of Juneau, for failing to return his 2014 Mendenhall Wetlands hunt permit in the required time frame. The citation was for $110.<\/p>\n

Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Friday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls and a call to Livingston Way that was cancelled en route.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:49 a.m. Saturday, CCFR was dispatched to Postal Way for a possible water rescue. While en route, it was reported that the person was no longer in the water. Upon arrival, a woman was given advanced life support care and taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital. At 4:09 p.m., CCFR was dispatched to El Camino Street for a report of smoke in the area. Upon arrival, CCFR found a smoldering fire in an exterior fire pit. The person responsible was advised to extinguish the fire, and did, and was also advised of open burn rules that prohibited burning in the Mendenhall Valley at that time. Throughout the day, CCFR also responded to seven EMS calls, a fire alarm on Riverside Drive that sounded due to a dead battery and two transport calls.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:10 a.m. Sunday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident on Egan Drive. A woman was provided basic life support, and she was taken to BRH. Throughout the day, CCFR also responded to five EMS calls, one transport call and a burn complaint on Long Run Drive.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:17 p.m. Monday, CCFR responded to a report of an unconscious person on Seward Street. Upon arrival, the man stood up and walked away, and CCFR units returned to service. CCFR also responded to four EMS calls, one transport call and a call to Glacier Highway that was cancelled en route.<\/p>\n

Possessing undersize crab<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Sunday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Luther Riley, 66, and Leonard Riley, 61, both of Juneau, for possessing undersize personal use Red King Crab. The citations stemmed from an investigation after a traffic stop on Jan. 1 at which time Troopers discovered that Luther Riley was in possession of six undersize red king crab. The citations were issued out of Juneau\u2019s District Court and have a fine of $710 each.<\/p>\n

Retain undersize Tanner crab<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Saturday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Brian Lupro, 61, of Juneau, at the Douglas Boat Harbor. Investigation revealed Lupro had caught and retained three Tanner crab that were less than the legal carapace width of 5.5 inches. The citation was for $170.<\/p>\n

Sexual abuse of a minor<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:11 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of sexual abuse of a minor. Confidential investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 4:39 p.m. Monday, Esther Johnson, 47, was cited and released for theft of merchandise ($191.21) from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. <\/p>\n

Taking waterfowl closed season\/unlawful methods<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Jan. 10, Alaska Wildlife Troopers contacted Zachariah Riste-Plosay, 25, of Juneau, at the Berners Bay Forest Service cabin. Investigation revealed that Riste-Plosay had shot and killed a Murre with a .22 rifle. Troopers issued Riste-Plosay a citation for taking waterfowl closed season and for using unlawful methods and means to take waterfowl.<\/p>\n

Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:26 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard. Nothing was reported stolen, and the suspect is unknown.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
