{"id":93322,"date":"2022-12-02T02:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-02T11:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-friday-dec-2\/"},"modified":"2022-12-02T02:30:00","modified_gmt":"2022-12-02T11:30:00","slug":"police-calls-for-friday-dec-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/police-calls-for-friday-dec-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Police calls for Friday, Dec. 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This report contains information available to the Empire from law enforcement and public safety agencies.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Abandoned Vehicle<\/p>\n<p>At 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Juneau Police Department responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle on Birch Lane.<\/p>\n<p>Assault<\/p>\n<p>At 1:44 p.m. on Tuesday, JPD responded to a report that a 22-year-old man assaulted a 39-year-old woman on Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n<p>Assist<\/p>\n<p>At 2:18 p.m. on Tuesday, 31-year-old Yom Kier Vergara was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive for criminal trespass and was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n<p>Attempt to Serve<\/p>\n<p>At 12:55 p.m. on Tuesday, 45-year-old Georgiana Joseph was arrested on Trout Street on a JPD warrant.<\/p>\n<p>At 10:33 p.m. on Wednesday, 56-year-old Mark Albert Brown was arrested on Allen Court on three JPD warrants and was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n<p>Harassment<\/p>\n<p>At 8:13 a.m. on Wednesday, a 26-year-old reported being harassed by a 37-year-old man in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n<p>Theft<\/p>\n<p>At 12:11 p.m. on Tuesday, 31-year-old Yom Kier Vergara was arrested on Shell Simmons Drive and later released for criminal trespass.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic Stop<\/p>\n<p>At 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday, 47-year-old David Haynes was arrested on Industrial Boulevard on a JPD warrant for failure to appear for a status hearing on a driving while license revoked charge.
