After an arduous year of touring in 2017, Juneau singer-songwriter Marian Call is playing in town this Friday for the first time in a while.

Call, along with local artist Laura Zahasky, will be performing a First Friday show at Rainy Day Books downtown. The show goes from 5:30-7 p.m., and is open to all ages. There will be wine samples and snacks available, and though the event is free, tips are appreciated.

Call, who released her 10th album in 2017, played more than 70 shows in 2017 according to her Twitter account, driving through 44 states and three Canadian provinces. Her music pairs folk and rock with classical and gospel influences, as described on her website.
