{"id":9659,"date":"2015-11-22T09:05:36","date_gmt":"2015-11-22T17:05:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/lynch-questionable-against-49ers\/"},"modified":"2015-11-22T09:05:36","modified_gmt":"2015-11-22T17:05:36","slug":"lynch-questionable-against-49ers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/sports\/lynch-questionable-against-49ers\/","title":{"rendered":"Lynch questionable against 49ers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>RENTON, Wash. \u2014<\/strong> Running back Marshawn Lynch is questionable for today\u2019s game against the San Francisco 49ers because of an abdominal injury that has limited him the last two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Lynch first appeared on the team\u2019s injury report last Friday after tweaking a muscle at the end of a practice. Lynch was active and carried just eight times for 42 yards and a touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals last week.<\/p>\n<p>Lynch did not practice this week. \u201cHe\u2019s questionable with a positive bend,\u201d Carroll said Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll said he thinks Lynch will be able to play like he did against the Cardinals.<\/p>\n<p>Wide receiver Paul Richardson will not play against San Francisco. Richardson was officially ruled out for the game after suffering a hamstring strain in last week\u2019s contest against Arizona.<\/p>\n<p>Richardson was playing in his first game of the season after coming off the physically unable to perform list. He caught one pass for 40 yards and was injured on the play.<\/p>\n<p>Bruce Irvin is also out for Seattle. Irvin suffered a sprained MCL in his right knee and was ruled out earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll said the team would wait to make a decision on whether to activate cornerback Jeremy Lane for this week\u2019s game.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re evaluating the rigor of the week and is he going to be at his best for game day. We\u2019re going to wait a little longer to figure that out,\u201d Carroll said.<\/p>\n<p>Lane remains on the physically unable to perform list after suffering a torn ACL and broken arm in the Super Bowl. He has practiced the last two weeks but has yet to be activated.
