Bill Walker has signed a bill to erase the online court records of people who have been acquitted of crimes in Alaska.<\/p>\n<p>Courtview is the state\u2019s searchable online court records database. House Bill 11, sponsored by Rep. Tammie Wilson, R-North Pole, directs the Alaska Court System to scrub Courtview of the records of people who have been acquitted of crimes or had charges dropped against them.<\/p>\n<p>The bill becomes law Oct. 1.<\/p>\n<p>Paper copies of the records will remain available at the state\u2019s courthouses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
