KENAI — An officer at Spring Creek Correctional Center in Seward was arrested Thursday on allegations that he delivered illegal drugs to an inmate.<\/p>\n
According to a dispatch from Alaska State Troopers, staff at the center reported around 4 p.m. that 44-year-old Steven Manuel, a Seward resident, had brought substances into the facility.<\/p>\n
Troopers investigated the allegation and found that Manuel had brought around 50 grams of methamphetamine and 87 Buprenorphine strips to an unnamed inmate, according to the dispatch.
