August trap shooting results

On Aug. 6, ten members of the Juneau Gun Club trap shooters took part in the trap shooting event.

Singles, 10 entries, overcast, 58 degrees

A Class: Pete Hudson, 96/100, Class & Event Winner; B Class: Mal Menzies, 85/100; C Class: Eric Verrelli, 96/100, class winner; Mer’Chant Thompson, 89/100; Jerry Godkin, 89/100; Garret Hermann, 87/100; Wayne Bertholl, 86/100, Chip Verrelli, 86/100 and Fred Bergander.

It must be noted that Jr. Trap Shooter, Garret Hermann shot his first 25 straight and a traditional hat ceremony was conducted in his achievement.

Handicap, nine entries, overcast, 60 degrees

Mid yardage; Pete Hudson, 95/100, Event & Class Winner; Mal Menzies, 85/100; short yardage: Mer’Chant Thompson, 91/100; Fred Wilson, 89/100; Fred Bergander, 88/100; Jerry Godkin, 88/100; Wayne Bertholl, 86/100; Eric Verrelli, 82/100 and Chip Verelli, 78/100.
