Girl Scouts thank Perseverance Theatre

Thank you Perseverance Theatre for a great Girl Scout event.

Thank you and the cast of Peter and the Starcatcher for hosting a Girl Scouts at the Theatre night that included discounted tickets and a post-show question and answer session with the cast. More than 75 Girl Scouts, friends and family members came out in force to see a great show, drink milk, eat brownies with the cast and learn about the acting process while supporting Girl Scout Troop 4036 and Juneau’s local, professional theater.

Troop 4036 in partnership with Perseverance Theatre put together the event. Baking supplies were donated by Foodland IGA and whipped up by members of the troop the night of the show.

Perseverance Theatre’s staff member, Amy O’Neill Houck, made the whole process easy and fun. Troop 4036 looks forward to hosting another event during the To Kill A Mockingbird run in the spring.

Troop 4036 is comprised of sixth and seventh graders that attend Dzantiki Heeni Middle School, Juneau Community Charter School, Juneau Montesorri along with home-schooled girls.

Adara Allen, Elsie Coppens, Julie Coppens (Leader), Esme Judy, Dominique Morley, Joan Pardes (Leader), Grace Standerwick, Eva Sturm, Annika Schwartz, and Minta Schwartz,
