Butch and Janice Holst will celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Sept. 30. The couple was married at St. Emery’s Church in Fairfield, Connecticut on Sept. 30, 1961. They moved to Juneau in August of 1978 and have remained since.
They had four children including: Melinda is married to Oscar with children Isabella and Ian; Caje (1963-2006) was married to Amie with daughters Emily and Katie; Eric is married to Sandee with children Alex, Erika, Sydney and Ashlyn; and Brian is married to Estela with grandchildren Brian C., Jasmin, Samuel and Martin. The latest addition to the family is their great-grandchild Lorenz.
The couple looks forward to many more years together.
