Path To Prosperity (P2P) has narrowed down the 2016 applications to 12 finalists. Two are from Juneau: Matthew Kern on behalf of Alder Grove Farm, and Max Stanley on behalf of Centric EV.
P2P is a partnership between the Haa Aanà Community Development Fund, Inc. (HACDF) and The Nature Conservancy. The goal of P2P is to develop community resiliency by supporting local entrepreneurs. In round two, the 12 finalists will participate P2P’s Business Boot Camp, have access to business mentors from around the region and receive one-on-one consulting on development of their ideas and business plans.
A panel of five independent judges will select two business plans as finalists. Each will be awarded up to $40,000 in seed funding for consulting and technical services to develop the business. Competition winners will be announced at Innovation Summit, February 2017.
