Made of Salmon

Homer resident, fisherman and author Nancy Lord has released a new book through University of Alaska Press: “Made of Salmon: Alaska Stories from the Salmon Project.” All over the world, says the book’s write-up, salmon populations are in trouble. Alaska, however, stands out as a rare success story. “Made of Salmon” brings together more than 50 diverse Alaska voices to celebrate the salmon and its place in Alaska life.
