Neighbors: Letters of thanks

Thanks for supporting family services

I am writing on behalf of Family Promise of Juneau to thank the Juneau Community Foundation’s Juneau Fund and Julie Neyhart for financially supporting our family services. Contributions like this enable us to run vital programs for families at risk of homelessness in our community.

With this support we ensure that essential services and resources are readily available to families, helping to alleviate the hardships associated with housing insecurity and providing a pathway towards stability. This grant supports our shelter program which provides safe overnight housing and hospitality while keeping families together. Our day center also provides a place for families to spend time and access everything from laundry facilities and the internet to comprehensive case management services.

The Juneau Community Foundation and local philanthropists like Ms. Neyhart are critical partners for Family Promise of Juneau. Through partnerships like these, we can continue making a meaningful impact in our community, standing with families as they overcome challenges and thrive.

As a new leader at Family Promise of Juneau, I would like to invite members of the Juneau community to reach out to me at b.gent@familypromisejuneau.org if they are interested in volunteering or getting involved with our organization. Your support and involvement are invaluable in helping us achieve our mission and create positive change in the lives of those we serve.

Once again, thank you to the Juneau Community Foundation’s Juneau Fund on behalf of Julie Neyhart for their generosity and commitment to supporting our community’s most vulnerable members. The Juneau Community Foundation has been a stalwart supporter of Family Promise of Juneau. We look forward to continuing our work together to make a difference in the lives of Juneau families.
