Northrim Bank raised $155,608 for its 2015 United Way campaign, a five percent increase from last year.
Employees of Northrim donated or supported fundraising events. Northrim offered a 50 percent match for every dollar donated by employees.
On Dec. 14, president and chief operating officer Joe Schierhorn presented the corporate match to United Way at the Northrim Building on C Street in Anchorage.
“It is important for us to show how much we believe in the mission of United Way, and we are proud to give our corporate match at the end of each campaign,” Schierhorn said. “Northrim’s employees continue to raise the bar with community support, and I am proud to be part of this generous team.”
Campaigns were held in each location of Northrim and donations were given to United Way of Anchorage, United Way of Matanuska Susitna Borough, United Way of Tanana Valley, United Way of Southeast Alaska and United Way of King County, Washington.
